Important Update: Transition to FieldEdge 3 Before Nov 1st | Sent Friday Oct 6, 2023

I am writing to let you know about critical changes to the FieldEdge app that may affect your campaign.

We very recently were made aware of a Google Play policy change that makes maintaining the current FieldEdge 2 Android app in the store untenable after Nov 1, 2023. For this reason, we will be recommending all customers transition to our all new platform, FieldEdge 3, before that date.

We understand that this information comes on short notice and potentially mid-campaign so we wanted to let you know right away to give you more time to prepare as needed. Detailed information about the transition process will be shared with you within the next 7 days.

Please know we are 100% committed to helping you complete a smooth transition.

  • We anticipate the process should be fairly simple but will require your canvassers to download a new version of the mobile app.

  • An easy to follow process is being devised and instructions will be provided.

  • Our team will provide hands-on support and assistance, where required to make your move from FieldEdge 2 to FieldEdge 3 as seamless as we can.

  • We will guarantee fair pricing for our customers who are transitioning to FieldEdge 3.

FieldEdge 3 has been in development for over 12 months and is the culmination of over 7 years of experience and feedback from the NationBuilder community. Built from the ground up for increased stability, Fieldedge 3 introduces powerful features for campaign managers as well as an upgraded, intuitive design that remains familiar to experienced FieldEdge users.

FieldEdge 3 Transition Details for Oct 17 | Sent Friday Oct 13, 2023

Following our last email, the team has been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition to FieldEdge 3 for our existing customers like you.

This new “FE3” platform is an exciting evolution which brings with it enhanced campaigning capabilities.

After the transition, you’ll get access to improved features such as expanded customization options, user permissions, reporting, offline capabilities, multiple lingual, accountless login, cold canvassing and more!

So here’s the plan:

1. Account Transition

Your FieldEdge 2 account will be migrated to FieldEdge 3 and ready for you to use from Oct 17.

To get started, you will need to login to the new HQ Dashboard and connect/authenticate your nation.

After which, you and anyone from your nation will be able to login to the mobile app using your NationBuilder account. The FieldEdge HQ Dashboard will be accessible to you and any other existing Dashboard users by signing in here using your email address.

2. App Download

Once you’ve confirmed you can login, prompt your team to download the FieldEdge 3 app. It can be found in the app stores by searching “FieldEdge 3” or you can send them a download link via the HQ Dashboard.

3. Plans & Pricing

Our promise to you: your pricing will remain the same for 6 months. You will have access to our new, “Pro” plan which includes nearly all of our new features. After 6 months, you will have the option to downgrade to our “Starter” plan which includes the same features you have access to now at a similar or lower price or stay on the Pro plan at the regular pricing for this plan.

To summarize, from Tuesday Oct 17, your account will be available on FieldEdge 3. Two simple steps are required to get started:

  1. Login to the HQ Dashboard and connect/authenticate your nation

  2. Have your team download the FieldEdge 3 app from the app stores
