Adding Tags

While contact status, support level, survey responses, and walk activity are all logged using dedicated tools in FieldEdge, sometimes you need to capture extra context — the kind of information that’s unique to your campaign or field team.

That’s where tags come in.

Instead, use tags for anything extra you want to track, such as:

💡 Examples of useful custom tags:

  • Yard Sign - Requested

  • VIP

  • Needs ASL Interpreter

  • Has Dogs

  • Contact Again in Evening

  • Elderly - Bring Info

  • Gated Community

  • Volunteer - Special Skills

Add a tag during a walk

  1. Open the profile from your walk list.

  2. Tap the Tags icon at the top or find it in the Actions menu (grid in the top right).

  3. Start typing to find an existing Tags or type a new one.

  4. Tap Save — it’s instantly synced to NationBuilder.

Remove a Tag during a walk

If a tag is no longer relevant — say you have delivered someones yard sign — you can remove it just as easily during a walk:

  1. Tap the Tags icon or access Tags via the Actions menu (grid in the top right).

  2. Tap the X on the tag you want to remove.

  3. Save your changes.

🔄 Real-Time Sync with NationBuilder

All Tags added or removed in FieldEdge are synced directly with NationBuilder in realtime.
