# Nation Disconnected

In rare cases, a nation can become disconnected from FieldEdge. When this happens, a **"Nation Disconnected"** dialog will appear when trying to access the nation.

## What Causes It

The connection between FieldEdge and your NationBuilder nation has been interrupted, typically due to NationBuilder API token changes or permission issues.

## How to Resolve It

A Campaign Manager needs to reconnect the nation by re-authorizing FieldEdge with NationBuilder:

1. Go to the **Switch Nation** menu
2. Select the disconnected nation
3. Follow the authorization prompts to reconnect
