# FieldEdge 3.1: Smarter workflows, less admin

## Introducing FieldEdge 3.1

At FieldEdge, we know that every second in the field counts. That’s why version **3.1** is all about making canvassing and call time more efficient, intuitive, and powerful. This update brings a fresh new look to profiles, easier access to voter history, smarter status updates, and brand-new features designed to streamline your outreach.

### A Fresh New Look

We’ve redesigned the Canvass and Call Time Profile experience to make it even easier for anyone to use, whether their new to campaigning or a seasoned pros.

#### Key Information Card Updated

Voter information that matters most—sex, age, support level, and party affiliation—now sits front and center. With critical details visible at a glance, canvassers can feel more prepared and confident before every conversation.

#### Current & History Tabs

We’ve introduced two simple tabs: **Current** and **History**.

* **Current**: A streamlined contact status menu, with options neatly grouped under “available” and “unavailable.” This makes logging interactions quicker and more consistent.
* **History**: A complete record of past interactions, including dates, contact methods, and notes. Dig deeper anytime with the new “show more” option.

Together, these updates give you a clear snapshot of where you stand with each voter.

#### Organized Contact Statuses: Available / Unavailable

We’ve improved the outcome buttons to make logging results more intuitive. Whether you connected, left a note, or marked someone as unavailable, your results are now clearer and easier to track.

### Introducing New Pins

You can now see the status of any household or person at a glance. Updated map and status icons now highlight progress at a glance. For example, you can see all the people you’ve recently attempted to contact but did not answer.

### New Flexibility for Less Admin

#### On devices re-canvassing

Sometimes one conversation isn’t enough. Previously, people would need to be reset via our HQ Dashboard or NationBuilder. Now, with our new in-app re-canvassing feature, you can log new interactions right away, keeping previous contact in place.

#### Editing Recently Completed Person (quickly make changes)

Need to make a change to some information you logged? Now you can. Simply tap the Make Changes button, make your tweaks and Save Changes. The interaction will be sync’d back to NationBuilder.

Note: the person will need to be completed on your device recently in order to edit the interaction.
